Georgia Tech encourages anyone attending public events to wear a well-fitting face covering (preferably a N95/K95 mask or a surgical mask with a cloth mask over it, for example), to choose social activities that emphasize risk-reduction practices, and to participate regularly in campus asymptomatic surveillance testing. For testing locations and hours, visit health.gatech.edu/coronavirus/testing.

Get Involved in Welcoming our Students

We want to make this year’s Week of Welcome the most exciting and buzzworthy yet – we need YOU to make that happen! Members of student organizations and campus departments are invited to be a part of the welcome efforts through workshops or events they put on, or by volunteering for some of the week’s larger events like move-in.

We appreciate all of our partners for being a part of this exciting welcome effort. For questions about your event or your Guidebook listing, email weekofwelcome@gatech.edu.

Explore Campus & Resources

This is the perfect time to get to know our beautiful campus and all the helpful resources we have to offer. Plan to attend helpful workshops from student groups and campus departments on everything from time management and nutrition to how to play American football or build robots. Students should also make time for the self-guided Traditions Tour that guides you to the most notable places at Georgia Tech. Beyond campus, there will be shuttles to nearby stores and Atlanta points of interest to help you further explore and find what you need.
